Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 October 2026
EpicTexting (epictexting.app) is run by Indianappguy Tech Pvt Ltd, India. This policy covers the EpicTexting web app, the EpicTexting app for ChatGPT and other AI assistants, and the EpicTexting Google Sheets add-on.
1. What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and profile picture from Google sign-in.
- Twilio credentials: your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token. The Auth Token is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it is stored, is only decrypted on our server to call Twilio for you, and is never shown again or shared with ChatGPT or anyone else.
- Messages you send: recipient number, sender number, message text, delivery status, time, and whether it came from the web app or an AI assistant. We keep this so you can see your history and so we can count your monthly usage.
- Technical logs: standard server logs (IP address, browser, errors) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.
2. How we use it
Only to run the service: to sign you in, send the texts you ask for through your Twilio account, show your history and usage, enforce plan limits, and give support. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or message your contacts ourselves.
3. Recipients' phone numbers
Numbers you text are used only to send your messages. You are responsible for having consent to text them and for following the laws that apply to you (for example the TCPA in the US, and carrier rules like A2P 10DLC registration).
4. Using EpicTexting from ChatGPT and other AI assistants
When you connect EpicTexting to ChatGPT, you sign in on epictexting.app and approve access. ChatGPT then gets an access token that can only use the EpicTexting tools: check your account, list your sender numbers, send texts, and read your recent messages and delivery status. ChatGPT never receives your Twilio Auth Token. What you type in ChatGPT, and the tool results it receives (such as recipient numbers and message text), are processed by OpenAI under OpenAI's own privacy policy. You can disconnect an assistant at any time from your dashboard, and its token stops working immediately.
5. Who processes data for us
- Twilio: delivers your SMS under your own Twilio account and Twilio's terms.
- Cloudflare: hosts the app and database.
- Google: sign-in.
6. Keeping and deleting data
Disconnecting Twilio deletes your stored credentials at once. Message history is kept while your account is open. Email sanskar@epictexting.app to delete your account and everything linked to it. We do this within 30 days.
7. Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, secrets are encrypted at rest, and access tokens are stored only as hashes.
